The Wales Environment Trust is a member of the ReMaDe Network UK. The Remade Network UK connects organisations and programmes working to find uses for waste as a resource and to minimise its impact on the environment by identifying alternatives to landfill.

At the Wales Environment Trust we create new markets for recyclate (recyclates refers to any products such as glass, wood, plastics, metals, bio-degradable materials and end-of-life products such as cards and fridges that can be recycled).
The UK produces more than 434 million tonnes of waste every year. This rate of rubbish generation would fill the Albert Hall in London in less than 2 hours.
